Tala has disbursed more than $150M in credit throughout East Africa and the Philippines is rapidly expanding throughout Latin America and Southeast Asia. Prior to Tala, Shivani worked at the United Nations Population Fund, helping to develop costing models throughout Africa and Asia.
Frida Polli PhD is an award-winning Harvard and MIT trained neuroscientist turned AI-startup founder an CEO. She is the CEO of pymetrics, a future of work platform that uses behavioral science and AI to helps companies like Unilever, Accenture, and LinkedIn to match external and internal talent with their ideal jobs in the most predictive and bias-free way. While an academic, Frida was a NARSAD Young Investigator, an NIH fellow, an MIT 100K winner, and a Life Science Fellow at Harvard Business School (where she earned an MBA).
